กริยาช่วย

Helping  Verbs  คือ กริยาที่ทำหน้าที่ช่วยกริยาตัวอื่นในประโยค หรืออาจใช้เป็นกริยาแท้

ก็ได้ เพื่อเป็นการเสริมความหมายให้ประโยคมีความสมบูรณ์ทั้งในการพูดและการเขียน

กล่าวคือ  เป็นกริยาช่วย ที่นำมาใช้ร่วมกับกริยาแท้นั่นเอง

กริยาที่ควรรู้จักมีดังนี้

Verb  to  be  มีหลักการใช้  ดังนี้

•ถ้าเป็นกริยาสำคัญในประโยค  มีความหมายว่า  เป็น  อยู่  คือ

•ใช้วางข้างหน้า กลุ่มคำ   adjective  ( คำคุณศัพท์ )

•ใช้เป็นกริยาช่วยในโครงสร้างของประโยค Continuous (ประโยคที่มีกริยา ing)

•ใช้เป็นกริยาช่วยในโครงสร้างของประโยค Passive  Voice

         ( ประโยคที่ประธานเป็นผู้ถูกกระทำ )

Hundreds of stars in the pretty sky,
Hundreds of shells on the shore together,
    Hundreds of birds that go singing by,
 Hundreds of lambs in the sunny weather.
          Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,

             Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
                 Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
             But only one mother the world wide over.
